7,300 Elderly in Jayapura City Will Receive Corona Vaccine

As many as 7,300 elderly people in Jayapura City will receive corona vaccinations in the near future.

The Jayapura City Government has scheduled the corona vaccine for the elderly to be given after the vaccination for health workers has been completed.

Head of the Jayapura City Health Office, doctor Ni Nyoman Sri Antari, said 7,300 elderly will receive vaccinations in phase II.

For the sake of smooth vaccination, the City Health Office opened more posts than the first phase of vaccination.

In the first phase, there are 13 health centers and 9 hospitals serving vaccinations. "Currently, we are opening more vaccination locations, for example at a number of existing clinics. We also have a post that can administer corona vaccinations, "said Nyoman, Friday, March 6, 2021.

Cumulatively, the number of Covid-19 corona in Jayapura City is 8,125, with a death rate of 136 people. Currently there are 1,031 people being treated and 6,958 people recovering from corona.
