Welcoming PON XX, Telkom Build 50 Wifi Corner IndiHome in Papua

Within one month, IndiHome as the flagship fixed broadband service from Telkom Indonesia succeeded in building 50 IndiHome Wifi Corners throughout Papua and West Papua. This achievement is one of the three big goals of the IndiHome Wonderful Papua program which was launched last March.

The three goals that simultaneously support the XX National Sports Week to be held in Papua in October are Connectivity, Creativity, and Charity. This makes it easy and comfortable for the Papuan community, students and people to access the internet. Venusiana emphasized that IndiHome services in Papua will continue to be improved to 100 percent.

As part of IndiHome Wonderful Papua, currently two competitions are being held that attract the creativity of the Papuan people, namely the Gita and Nada Papua Competition and the Wonderful Papua Portrait Competition with IndiHome. According to Venusiana, high enthusiasm was seen in welcoming the competition which was joined by hundreds of participants.

Later, the participants will receive training with professionals and must pass the grand final stage to determine the first, second and third winners as well as the first and second hopes for the Wonderful Papua Portrait Competition with IndiHome. The grand final stage and the announcement of the winners will be broadcast on the IndiHome YouTube channel on April 30, 2021.

The first winner of the Gita and Nada Papua Competition will get IDR 10 million in cash, the second winner will be entitled to IDR 7.5 million, and the third winner will get IDR 5 million. Meanwhile, the first winner of the Wonderful Papua Portrait Competition with IndiHome will get IDR 15 million, the second winner IDR 10 million, with the third winner IDR 7.5 million, and the first runner up will get IDR 5 million and the second runner up IDR 3.5 million.

For the implementation of the third goal, namely Charity, the IndiHome Wonderful Papua program spreads the values ​​of goodness through various social activities.
