Nemangkawi Task Force Disables 15 Papuan KKB Terrorists in the Last Month

The Nemangkawi Task Force paralyzed 15 Papuan armed criminal group terrorists (KKB) during the period 12 May – 12 June 2021. Security and protection operations for the Papuan people will continue.

Head of the Nemangkawi Ops Public Relations Task Force, Kombes Pol. Iqbal Alqudussy said that one of the efforts made by the task force was to pursue terrorists who had spread terror to the public.

He emphasized that although this effort sometimes resulted in casualties on the part of the apparatus, the TNI-Polri would not back down in the slightest from the pursuit.

"Strict and measured actions are always prioritized by the TNI-Polri. We managed to neutralize 15 armed criminal terrorists, 4 people died, 11 were seriously injured," Iqbal said in a written statement, Saturday (12/6/2021).

Iqbal said that his party had succeeded in identifying the terrors carried out by these terrorist groups in Papua. In fact, the location of the existence has also been successfully obtained.

"It's just a matter of time. We will continue to pursue KKTB, and always guard and protect the local community from the terror of these terrorist groups," he said.

Not only pursuit efforts, Iqbal stated that the Nemangkawi Task Force had also made other efforts in terms of fighting terrorist groups in Papua.

"The arrest of the wanted list for both cases of armed terrorism and the provision of false information or hoaxes, provocations of hatred or other forms of terror," he concluded.
