THE KIWIROK COMMUNITY FEEL HURT FOR THE EXISTENCE OF KKB

The aftermath of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) who tried to cause chaos to occupy the Kiwirok District in the Bintang Mountains Regency has caused the indigenous people to become afraid. Even in the past, some communities have to secure themselves to the outskirts to save themselves.
Merinus Uropmabin in his statement said that the actions carried out by the Kiwirok community were purely spontaneous, because previously Kiwirok was known as a safe area and there had never been a bloody incident. (20/10)

“Because Kiwirok used to be a safe place, once there was chaos, people would be afraid. The burning of the health center and the attack on the nurse was very terrible, so the residents had time to avoid it,"

Merinus added that the conflict brought by KKB to Kiwirok had caused more unrest for the indigenous people.

“People's lives after the attack have been different until now. People now feel more restless, and the trauma is definitely there. Indeed, from the beginning we at Kiwirok never agreed with the KKB,"

According to him, the existence of the KKB, especially the Lamek Taplo group, is considered only to have a bad influence on the survival of the people in Kiwirok. Merinus also said that the KKB should not claim the struggle on behalf of Papua.

“The Lamek Taplo group, which often carries out terror around the Bintang Mountains, shouldn't be left alone, they have already threatened them. People in Kiwirok really value love, so they can't claim they are fighting for us,"
