Deputy Governor of West Papua Opens Youth Hidayatullah LTC

The Hidayatullah Youth Leadership Training Center (LTC) event in Manokwari was officially attended and opened by the Deputy Governor of West Papua, Mohamad Lakotani.

"The LTC in Manokwari is the final one in Indonesia after being held from Aceh, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi to now in Manokwari. So this is the closing program for the Hidayatullah Youth in 2021," explained the General Chairperson of the Hidayatullah Youth, Imam Nawawi to the Deputy Governor of Papua West and the audience, Sunday (28/11).

The Deputy Governor of West Papua also welcomed the LTC event in Manokwari. "How many times has this Chairman of Pemuda Hidayatullah been to Manokwari. Usually once to Manokwari he will come again," he said to laughter from the audience.

"This LTC program is very strategic and I really support it. Because for future leadership, young people must be trained from now on," he added as quoted in a release received by Republika.co.id.

LTC is a program provided by Pemuda Hidayatullah as a means for young people to increase their capacity in terms of leadership and gait, so that they can be more progressive and civilized in life.

"When young people are aware of the responsibility of leadership, God willing, they will continue to make efforts to increase their capacity and self-progressivity accompanied by strengthening their inner manners. Here, the Hidayatullah Youth LTC is here for the country," explained Imam.

Present at the opening of the LTC were the Chairman of the West Papuan MUI KH Ahmad Nasrau, the chairman of the West Papua Baznas, members of the Manokwari Regency DPRD and various other government elements as well as the general public.
