Telkomsel Donates 20 Computers and 10 Orbit Modems to Uncen Jayapura

Telkomsel reaffirmed its role in supporting education in Indonesia, especially in Eastern Indonesia by providing assistance to Cenderawasih University.

The assistance was given to coincide with a series of working visits by the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) and the Minister of Social Affairs to Jayapura City, Papua.

Telkomsel through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program handed over assistance to Cenderawasih University in the form of 20 units of Personal Computer (PC) or computers and 10 Telkomsel Orbit Modems along with Telkomsel Orbit data packages for 6 months.

Symbolically, the CSR submission was carried out by Telkomsel's Sales Director, Adiwinahyu Basuki Sigit, who said that Telkomsel's involvement in this activity was a form of Telkomsel's commitment to continue to open up all opportunities, provide the best service and not only focus on the core telecommunication business, but also try to spread the benefits for the community. society and the environment, especially in the world of education to support the progress of the nation.

"Hopefully this assistance that we provide can provide many benefits for both lecturers and students to support the process of learning activities at Cenderawasih University which is supported by access to services and broadband networks with cutting-edge technology with equitable coverage throughout the country," said Sigit.

"Through this device, lecturers and students can take advantage of computers and WiFi services with the latest technology provided by Telkomsel as a means to increase technology-based knowledge," he continued.
