The Papuan Provincial Government handed over a certificate of appreciation for the organizers of the XX-Peparnas PON

The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of Papua will hand over certificates of appreciation for the committee that has succeeded in organizing PON XX and Peparnas XVI 2021.

The chairman of the XX-Peparnas XVI Papua Joint Christmas and Thanksgiving Committee, Doren Wakerkwa in Jayapura, Friday, said the awarding of the certificate of appreciation would be carried out by the Governor of Papua Lukas Enembe.
 
"So the award ceremony will be held in conjunction with the holding of a joint Christmas and celebration of the XX-Peparnas XVI 2021 PON," he said.
 
According to Doren, in addition to the thanksgiving service, the distribution of bonuses for outstanding Papuan NPC athletes to award certificates was also held to the committee.
 
"We also plan to invite the Indonesian Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora)," he said.
 
He explained that this thanksgiving service was not only attended by the committee and athletes of Peparnas XVI, but also PON XX on January 26, 2022.
 
"The implementation of health protocols also remains a concern because this event will be attended by many people," he said again.

He added that this series of activities was a form of gratitude and gratitude for holding several large events smoothly and safely.
