Hundreds of Timika Residents Take Booster Vaccinations at Six Outlets
At least 349 residents who live in Mimika Regency, Papua participated in the booster vaccination on Sunday (13/2/2022)
The administration of this third dose of vaccine aims to maintain the existing level of immunity and extend the period of protection.
A total of 349 residents of Timika have received the Covid-19 booster vaccine which is divided into 6 outlets, namely the Mimika Police Vaccine Outlet, the Rumkitban Vaccine Outlet.
Next, the Timika PKM Outlet, the Central Market PKM Outlet, the Timika Jaya PKM Outlet and the Mapurujaya PKM Outlet.

Head of Public Relations of Mimika Police, Ipda Hempi Ona, when confirmed, explained that Mimika Regency was one of the districts that had been allowed to receive booster vaccines.
"I ask the people in Timika City, this (vaccine) is caught properly. Because we don't know when this pandemic will end," said Ipda Hempi Ona through a press release received by Tribun-Papua.com, Sunday.
He continued, it was decided that a booster was needed to strengthen the phase one and phase two vaccines. So that later herd immunity is built properly.
"I hope that the residents of Mimika Regency will continue to apply health protocols by using masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands," he added.
