PT PLN handed over work facilities to BPN in Bumi Cenderawasih

PT PLN provides work facilities for the National Land Agency (BPN) in both Papua and West Papua Provinces along with 22 land offices (kantah) spread over the two regions in order to speed up the process of certifying electricity assets.

General Manager of PLN Main Unit for Papua and West Papua Region Moch. Andy Adchaminoerdin in a press release to Antara in Jayapura, Friday, said the good relationship that had been established could help PLN in meeting the target for certificates to be issued in 2022 in Papua and West Papua.

"This is done so that electricity services to customers can run smoothly with adequate infrastructure, both in terms of the reliability of the operational system and legal legality of assets," he said.

According to Andy, this is one of the efforts to secure, maintain, and utilize the land assets owned. Of course, PLN really appreciates the assistance that BPN has provided to solve the problems that have occurred so far.

"We hope this synergy can continue to run well," he said.

Meanwhile, West Papua Province BPN Regional Head Freddy A. Kolintama said the current collaboration is the main point in resolving the problem of collecting data on assets that have not been certified or that need to be extended where this needs to be a concern so that all assets owned by PLN can be properly recorded. and legally recognized.

"So in principle this form of cooperation is mutually beneficial. We are happy to receive equipment assistance that can help complete the work," he said.

He explained that BPN is ready to help mediate disputes that occur with other parties in the future, of course this is expected to provide legal certainty over the assets and infrastructure owned by PLN.

In line with Freddy A. Kolintama, the Head of the Regional Office of the Papua Province BPN Jhon Wikif Aufa also said that his party expressed his appreciation to PLN for the cooperation that has existed so far.

"We thank you, today we can sit down together to hand over this infrastructure, maybe for Papua, we really need this facility," he said.

For your information, work facilities in the form of 48 units of Personal Computer (PC) and 24 printers were provided by the General Manager of PLN's Regional Parent Unit (UIW) Papua and West Papua and the General Manager of the Maluku Papua Development Parent Unit (UIP) to the Head of the Regional Office (Kakanwil) of BPN. West Papua Province and Papua Province BPN on (8/3) at the Vega Hotel, Sorong and (10/3) at the Horison Kotaraja Hotel, Jayapura. The activity was also witnessed directly by the Head of the Land Office (Kakantah) from each district in the two provinces.

In this activity, seven PLN land certificates were also handed over from a target of 128 certifications in Papua and West Papua for 2022, while in the previous year, as many as 193 land parcels owned by PLN had been successfully certified.
