Battalion Battalion 126/KC Task Force provides basic food assistance to Papuan border residents

The Yonif 126/KC Pos Yabanda Task Force participated in enlivening the 2022 Easter Celebration Camping event by distributing free basic necessities to the congregation in Yabanda Village, Yaffi District, Keerom Regency.

This was conveyed by the Dansatgas Pamtas Infantry Battalion 126/Kala Cakti, Lt. Col. Inf. Dwi Widodo in a written release in Keerom Regency, Papua, Saturday (16/4).

"Satgas Battalion 126/KC Pos Yabanda distributed 150 kg of rice and 5 cartons of ready-to-eat meal (MRE) to help residents and children who are participating in Easter Camping activities," explained Dansatgas.

The support of the Battalion Battalion 126/KC Task Force in the Easter Camping activity was welcomed and received appreciation from the Head of the Committee, Maikel Tibne (35).

On the sidelines of the event, the Chairman of the Committee said, “I thank the members of Pos Yabanda who have provided assistance from the beginning of the event because we also have limitations in preparing and organizing activities. This is very helpful," he said.
