Members of the DPR RI hand over study assistance for Sorong students

Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Rico Sia handed over study assistance to 89 students studying in Sorong City, West Papua.

The assistance is the Indonesian Innovation Talent Research Scholarship Program to encourage students to continue to excel in doing research.

Rico Sia, in Sorong, Wednesday, said that as a representative of the people, he wanted the next generation in West Papua to continue to be enthusiastic about learning for a better future.
 
In addition, he said, the next generation in West Papua should be able to innovate to build the Indonesian nation in a better direction.

The member of Commission VII DPR RI promised to continue to fight for aspirations in the field of education, especially with regard to innovation as he did while sitting on Commission X DPR RI.
 
He said that the support for education in West Papua aims to produce superior human resources and can encourage the young generation in West Papua to continue to advance and have an innovative spirit.

"We hope that the young generation of West Papua will continue to excel at the local, national and international levels," he said.

Rico hopes that the scholarship assistance worth Rp. 10 million per student is beneficial for those who receive it to keep the spirit of completing their studies.
