TNI soldiers again became victims of the violence of the armed criminal group (KKB) on Trans Elelim Street, Elelim District, Yalimo Regency, Papua, Thursday (31/3/2022). Babinsa Koramil 1702-07/Kurulu Sergeant Eka Andrianto Hasugian was shot dead.
In fact, KKB also killed Sertu Eka's wife, Sri Lestari Indah Putri (33) who was the midwife of the Elelim Health Center of the Yalimo District Health Office.
"Victims who are health workers and civil servants at the Elelim Yalimo Health Center often help the community, especially in the delivery of mothers. Moreover, during the evacuation in Yalimo Regency, the deceased as a health worker went directly to help Ppra Refugees," said Deputy Head of Pendam XVII/Cenderawasih Lt. Col. Inf. Candra Kurniawan in Jayapura, Thursday (31/3/2022).
He said that the toddler couple Sertu Eka and Sri Lestari were also victims of the KKB violence. The fingers of the innocent toddler, he said, were cut by KKB. According to him, the bodies of Sertu Eka and his wife have been taken to the Puskesmas for an autopsy. "Similarly, the child of the deceased who was still a toddler became a victim of OTK malignancy, namely his finger was cut off," he said.
