The figure of Ali Kogoya, the KKB member who was shot dead by the Cartenz Peace Task Force in Ilaga

Ali Teu Kogoya (35), a member of the armed criminal group (KKB) was shot dead by the Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force (Satgas). This shooting incident occurred during an arrest in Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, Papua, Sunday (3/4/2022)

Papuan Police Chief Inspector General Mathius Fakhiri said firm and measured actions had to be taken by officers because the KKB members were trying to resist. He even shot an officer during his arrest.
 
Apart from arresting Ali Kogoya, members of the task force also confiscated a firearm type FN 46 AK, with serial number EA 1520077 containing two bullets in the magazine he was carrying.

"It is true that there was a shooting that killed KKB members in Ilaga, last Sunday," said the Kapolda in Jayapura, Monday (4/4/2022).

According to him, Ali Kogoya is a member of the Kuyawage KKB located in the Lanny Jaya Regency, Papua. Based on the reports received, the firearms that Ali Kogoya brought came from Undius Kogoya.
 
Ali Kogoya is known to have joined Kelenak Telenggen in Ilaga, Puncak Regency. Currently, the body has been taken to the Ilaga Health Center, while the evidence in the form of an FN 46 firearm has been secured to the Puncak Police.
