Swandiwe Youth Supports the Expansion of Provinces in Papua

The plan to form a new province or known as the New Autonomous Region (DOB) in Papua continues to raise pros and cons in the community.

One of the supports for the formation of new autonomous regions came from the Swandiwe youth, who stated that the formation of new autonomous regions was intended to bring about a more prosperous society.
 
"On behalf of the Suandiwey youth, I express our opinion that we accept the New Autonomous Region (DOB) for our future welfare," said Paul Agus Mofu Mambri Manwaren, as the Indigenous Guardian of the Swandiwe Indigenous Region, West Biak, in a statement.

He emphasized that he had already seen the future of his region if the new autonomous regions had been formed as planned and discussed in the DPR RI.
 
"We have seen the good intentions of the Government and the State for the future we can change," he explained.
 
The same thing was expressed by Raimon Yapen, as Chairman of the KAP (Papuan Entrepreneurs Customary Chamber) Yandidori District, Biak Numfor Regency.

"Representing my friends to convey about the New Autonomous Region (DOB), I am the Chairperson of the KAP (Papuan Entrepreneurs Customary Chamber) Yandidori District, Biak Numfor Regency, I fully support it," he said.
 
The Papuan Entrepreneurs' Customary Chamber, starting from the first volume I to planning Volume II, supports seven New Autonomous Regions (DOB) that the Central Government wants to promote.

"Today, I, as the Chairperson of the Papuan Entrepreneurs' Indigenous Youth, Yandidori District, fully supports it, why today are our mothers who trade in the market, it is also not evenly distributed in the market," he explained.

Raimon also expressed his support for the implementation of Otsus Volume II.

"We are talking on the side of the Papuan Entrepreneurs' Customary Chamber, not talking about politics, we are talking about the welfare of the Indigenous people, this I need to reiterate, so today as Chair of the Papuan Entrepreneurs' Customary Chamber, Yandidori District, fully supports this Special Autonomy Volume II," he said.
