KKB terrorists are known to have attacked the Deiyai DPRD Office Hall at around 21.34 WIT, Sunday (26/6). At that time, the victim Enal and a number of his friends who were playing badminton were suddenly bombarded with bullets. "The victim was playing badminton with several other colleagues at the Deiyai Regency DPR Hall GOR," said Head of Public Relations of the Papua Police, Kombes Ahmad Musthofa Kamal in his statement, Monday (27/6).

Kamal revealed that at least 3 KKB members were seen entering the GOR Hall of the Deiyai DPRD. Not long after, gunshots were heard from outside the GOR. "Then he heard a gunshot from outside the GOR, precisely at the entrance of the hall, carried out by 3 people at 21:34 WIT," he said. The incident happened quickly. The perpetrators fled immediately after the shooting and residents immediately reported to the Deiyai Police Headquarters.

“Receiving the report, the members went straight to the scene. It turned out that the members found that one of the residents named Enal had become a shooting victim," he said. Kamal said the victim had actually been taken to the Paniai Hospital to treat the gunshot wound to his body. However, the victim's life failed to be saved. KKB Attacks TNI Post Kills a Soldier.

The TNI post attack occurred in Kiwirok, Bintang Mountains, at around 15.30 WIT, Wednesday (29/6) afternoon. Herman said the attack resulted in a Prada Beryl being shot in the thigh.

"Prada Beryl later died of blood loss," he said. The bodies of the victims have now been evacuated. The body of the late Prada Beryl was supposed to be flown to his home village in Kediri, East Java. "The evacuation plan is still looking at the development of the situation, and will be submitted after there is certainty when and where the evacuation will be carried out," he said.
