According to Dandim 0704 Banjarnegara Lt. Col. Inf. Dhanang Agus Setiawan, after completing the On Job Training (OJT) the ten members of the Papua Special Autonomy Police will be placed as Babinsa spread across several Koramil in Papua and West Papua.
"The Special Autonomy NCO Program (Otsus) is a good opportunity for the best Papuan sons and daughters who have been educated and adapted on the island of Java with the aim of being put into practice in helping people's difficulties and building Papua to be more advanced," said Dandim 0704 Banjarnegara, during the release of the Special Autonomy Officer. at the Banjarnegara Makodim, Friday (17/06/2022).
In addition, the Dandim also hopes that the Otsus Bintara can be a driving force and motivator, so that they are able to carry out their duties by providing the best service as an extension of the leadership of the Army by providing community service within the framework of the unity and harmony of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
"I don't get tired of reminding what is the mandate of Mr. Kasad, that this Special Autonomy Officer must be a motivator and also a driver for the implementation of development in the provinces of Papua and West Papua and must be present in the midst of community difficulties and be a solution," he added.
Lt. Col. Inf. Dhanang Agus Setiawan also added that the members of the Special Autonomous Command must remain firm in upholding the Sapta Marga, the Soldier's Oath and the Eight Mandatory Military Forces.
"Show that you are Indonesian Army soldiers who love the Republic of Indonesia and are the pride of your family, community, nation and state of Indonesia," said Dhanang.
Meanwhile, according to a member of the Papua Special Autonomy Police, Serda Andre Kauci, while he was in Banjarnegara for approximately 8 months, he learned many positive things during his Otsus (special autonomy) education.
"The knowledge I have gained so far at the Banjarnegara Kodim 0704, of course I will also apply it in Papua later for the sake of the unity and harmony of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI)," he said.
