As for his claim,
“In response to the situation and conditions as well as the dynamics that develop on Papuan land, regarding the new autonomous region bill & the sustainability of Papua Special Autonomy Volume II, hereby state:
reject all forms of rallies / demonstrations against the Ratification of the New Autonomous Region & Sustainability of Otsus Papua.
"We urge all elements and components of the Papuan community, both students and the community, to participate in maintaining security and conduciveness in Papua.
Urge the DPR to immediately ratify the New Autonomous Region Bill (DOB) for 3 regions (South Papua, Central Papua & Papua Mountains) for the sake of accelerating equitable development and social welfare.
Support the continuation of the implementation of Otsus Papua Volume II with the following considerations, that:
"A. The community is currently in dire need of special autonomy funds to address the problems that are being faced by the Papuan people, such as basic needs, education, health and community sector development.
"B. Papua Special Autonomy must be implemented immediately with regulations for the benefit of the Papuan people, not on the basis of the interests of Papuan Regional Government officials.
Ask Papuan officials, politicians and intellectuals not to take advantage of the components of students, mass organizations and the community to take actions against the ratification of the new autonomous region bill & the sustainability of Papua Special Autonomy Volume II.
