Non-3T BTS Soon to be Built in Jayapura Regency

Base Transceiver Stations or non-3T BTS (Outermost, Remote and Disadvantaged) will soon be built at 17 points in Jayapura Regency, Papua Province in July 2022. Head of the Jayapura Regency Communication and Information Service (Kominfo) Gustaf Griapon said the construction of non-3T BTS in The 17 points are the first stage of the Telecommunication and Information Accessibility Agency (BAKTI) Kominfo.
 
"There are still further stages, so we hope that in the future all villages in Jayapura Regency will be well served," he said, Sunday (24/7/2022).
 
According to Gustaf, the location for the construction of the telecommunications tower has been surveyed by PT Infrastruktur Bisnis Sejahtera (IBS) through partners PT Waradana and PT Yusa Abadi accompanied by local Kominfo Service officers and members of the Jayapura Regency DPRD from their respective constituencies.

"After that, in our meeting with partners on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, they agreed to immediately build non-3T BTS," he said.

He explained that his party is now only waiting for the release of the work operation order to PT Waradana from PT IBS as the winner of the tender in Papua Province for the development process. "It is planned that the work will be carried out next week because currently PT Waradana is in Jayapura to carry out the construction of BTS at these 17 points," he said again.

A total of 17 non-3T BTS construction points in Jayapura Regency are spread over six districts in the region, namely Kamikaru, Aurina, Muara Nawa and Pagai villages in Airu District, Bangai Villages in South Gresi District, Santosa and Nandalzi villages in Unurum Gauy District, Meukisi Villages in Yokari District. , Kampung Lapua, Sebum, Soskotek in Kaureh District and Kampung Bumi Saja, Kwarja, Nawa Mukti, Tabeyan, Nawa Mulya, Purnawa Jati in Yapsi District.
