Ali Kabiay Calls KKB Like Boko Haram Terrorist Organization in Nigeria

Chairman of the Saireri II Nabire Indigenous Youth, Ali Kabiay said that the actions of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) or the Papuan Terrorist Separatist Group (KSTP) in Nduga and the Bintang Mountains, such as the Boko Haram Terrorist Group in Nigeria.
 
Ali said that killing and beheading civilians was a terrorist act, especially since the victims were civilians who did not know anything.
 
This is due to the actions of the KKB or KSTP, which massacred 11 civilians up to 9 people died in Nogolait Village, Nduga Regency, July 16, 2022 and one of the victims was a priest on behalf of Eliaser Baye, even four days later on July 20, 2022 KKB also beheaded a civilian who worked as a gold miner in Kawe Awimbon District, Bintang Mountains.

"Killing civilians is an unhealthy behavior, even to the point of beheading, I am very concerned, civilians who come to work are even killed sadistically, let alone to the point of beheading this kind of behavior is very similar to what is done by terrorist groups. Boko Haram in Nigeria, just to smooth out ideological political interests, civilians have become victims," said Ali through a press release, Monday (25/7/2022).

Ali explained that terrorist-like behavior should not be allowed to continue, because it will also have an impact on the ongoing development process, and will also affect the development of Papua's Human Resources (HR) development.

"We in Papua are very peace-loving, so if there are behaviors such as beheading, killing civilians and other crimes it does not represent us as indigenous Papuans," he said.

This smiling man also hopes that the security forces can cooperate with all parties, to catch the perpetrators and be dealt with according to the applicable law, and find the actors behind the massacre.

"Security officers must work together, be it the TNI, Polri or other related parties, to arrest the perpetrators and be processed according to applicable law, strict action must be taken, because killing civilians is a crime and violates human rights, let alone killing a priest who incidentally is a servant of the people.

“I am sure that God will not remain silent, God will surely repay all evil deeds designed by the KKB or KSTP. I also convey my condolences from the bottom of my heart. May the family left behind be given fortitude from God Almighty," said Ali.
