TNI Officials in Deiyai Open a Demonstration of Corn Plants

Strengthening food security in the region, Koramil 1703-02/Tigi mobilized Babinsa ranks to clear the Demonstration plot (Pilot Land) for corn plants located in Kogemani Village, Tigi Bara District, Deiyai Regency, Saturday (23/07/2022).

The preparation of demonstration plot plots in the entire area of Koramil 1703-02/Tigi, is one of the efforts of Kodim 1703/Deiyai in supporting the food security program, through processing unused land around into productive and beneficial land for the community.
 
It can be seen that personnel from the Babinsa Koramil 1703-02/Tigi are busy cleaning up the weeds, eagerly for corn.


In addition to supporting food security, this activity is also a means of learning and training for Babinsa to be developed for the community in the region.

In his statement, Danramil 1703-02/Tigi Mayor Czi Jarman Dabang by reprocessing the land for food security will automatically open up opportunities for Koramil 02/Tigi to share with the community.

"So far, we have been able to use the results of the demonstration plot for food security to share the results with people living around Koramil 02/Tigi and people who pass by," he said.

“By reprocessing the land for food security, it is also natural that his party has provided education to the community. Food security land if processed properly the results are quite good. This means, with what we are doing, we hope to be a motivation for the community to be able to take advantage of the vacant land around their homes,” hoped Danramil.
