Tourists Value the attention of Jayapura City Dispar for Kayu Island Tourism Village Very Good

Responding to the attention of the Jayapura City Tourism Office (Dispar) towards the Kayu Pulau Tourism Village, the visiting tourists responded positively and gave appreciation.

This was conveyed by one of the tourists who visited Kayo Pulau Village to Tribun-Papua.com Tuesday (19/7/2022), Elbertus Sandes (25) who according to him was very kind of attention from the Jayapura City Dispar.
 
"I see that the arrangement is good, carried out by the community and the Tourism Office, making this village more known, especially in terms of supporting facilities and promotion to social media," he said.

He also said, in terms of promotion, he saw that through the @Pesona_Portnumbay Instagram account managed by the Jayapura City Dispar, there have been many tourist villages that can be used as promotional events and triggers for people to visit.

"I think it's not only the facilities that are made, but how the promotions and packaged tour packages are also a benchmark for us tourists," he said.
 
Then, the price of parking and also the price of crossing to Kampung Kayo Pulau is relatively cheap.

"This costs Rp. 5,000 one way, if you go home and go, it means Rp. 10,000, and this is very affordable, and the most important thing is that the Jayapura City Dispar has been able to monitor and guarantee that there will be no extortion, so the price is clear, tourists are also happy," he explained.

In the future, his hope is to be even more active to hold festivals or other tourist ceremonial activities, after the Covid-19 pandemic, so that tourist villages and their communities can continue to improve.
 
"I hope and maybe this is the hope of all tourists, so that festival activities will be held again, not only the Humboldt Bay Festival but there must be other custom-based festivals regularly every year," Elbertus asked.
