Biak Numfor Education Office builds six new PAUD buildings

The Biak Numfor Regency Education Office (Disdik) in collaboration with the Indonesian Association of Early Childhood Educators and Education Personnel (Himpaudi) in 2022 built six new Early Childhood Education (PAUD) buildings.

"Six PAUD school buildings were built to support the government's program, one village, one PAUD," said Head of the Education and Teaching Division of the Biak District Education Office, Numfor Mesak Mandowen in Biak, Tuesday.

He said the existence of PAUD is the basis for shaping the character of children from an early age.

Mandowen hopes that the PAUD building can be used as a teaching and learning process for early childhood.

Head of Himpaudi Biak Regency, Numfor Ruth Naomi Rumkabu S.Pd said the PAUD facilities built in each village were the realization of the local government's early childhood education program.

"Himpaudi appreciates the local government's concern for responding to the policy of building one village, one PAUD," he said.

Based on Himpaudi's data, he said, until 2022 there were already 100 PAUD operating in various villages in the area.
