"But if the president has signed, we hope it will be even faster. That's why the Ministry of Home Affairs has prepared a mini APBD draft for the implementation of the government travel process. Say from today to December. Later, after the inauguration of the acting governor, he will draw up the provincial APBD for 2023. In 2023, the APBD will prepare for the construction of the definitive governor's office, the definitive DPR, the definitive MRP and the definitive OPD office. Regarding the criteria for acting governors in 3 new autonomous regions, the Vice Minister of Home Affairs revealed that there are no criteria. What is clear, however, is that karteker are officials who hold echelon I positions at the level of ministries and central institutions. "So the center is determined for the Papuan people," he said.
Wempi Watipo admitted that there has been no leak of who will be appointed as the acting governor in the 3 new autonomous regions in Papua. According to him, until now there are no echelon I officials in the new ministries and institutions, Felix Wanggai, apart from that. “So we can't force what doesn't exist into existence. Meanwhile, the Papua Regional Secretary is still in echelon II," he added.
Regarding the dynamics regarding the capital city of Central Papua Province, the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Jhon Wempi Watipo, emphasized that there were no dynamics, because the law had already been passed.
''So Nabire as the capital of Central Papua is final. If there are people who fight for the capital in Timika, I don't think it's possible. Because the President has signed. Then what else do you want to change. There is nothing else that we can change," he said. (ulo/nat)
