Pertamina ensures safe fuel stock in Papua-Maluku
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Sub Holding Commercial & Trading of PT Pertamina (Persero) Papua Maluku, stated that until now the stock is in a safe condition after adjusting the price of fuel oil (BBM) in Bumi Cenderawasih.
Area Manager Communication Relations & CSR of PT Pertamina Papua Maluku Edi Mangun in a press release in Jayapura, Saturday, said that this price adjustment will continue to be balanced with stock availability and distribution guarantees to all gas stations in Indonesia, so that his party ensures that fuel distribution remains evenly distributed to the public.
"The stock of subsidized and non-subsidized fuel in the Papua and Maluku regions is in a safe condition where the stock of Pertalite is recorded to be sufficient for 23 days, diesel fuel at the level of 24 days, and Pertamax with a resilience of 28 days," he said.
According to Edi, with an average product durability of more than 20 days, the position of Papua Maluku stock resilience is under control.
"Our commitment is to maintain national energy security, which in terms of price is maintained at the most competitive level, for that we urge people to buy according to their needs," he said.
He explained that the trend from the oil and gas industry, especially the world oil price or ICP, was still at a fairly high level, in August 2022 it was recorded at around Rp. 94.17 US dollars/barrel.
He said that for this reason, his party set a new price for Pertamax which was effective as of September 3, 2022 with a selling price set at Rp. 14,850 per liter for the Papua-Maluku region or areas with a motor vehicle fuel tax (PBBKB) of 7.5 percent.
"This new price is in accordance with the regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 62/K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the formulation of prices for general fuel types (JBU). When compared to other RON 92 products, the price of Pertamax is still the most competitive when compared to other products with the same RON which has a higher price than Pertamina's fuel prices," he said.
He added that now the price changes on the dispenser machines that were carried out did not experience problems in the field, so that services to consumers can run smoothly after the dispenser machines have been successfully adjusted.
