Support the formation of 3 new autonomous regions, this is the firm attitude of Papuan religious leaders and young intellectuals

All Papuan people are encouraged to participate in maintaining security and order after the establishment of the New Autonomous Region (DOB) on Cenderawasih Earth.

This appeal was conveyed by the Chairperson of the Communion of Churches in Papua (PGGP) Rev. MPA Mauri.

This step is considered appropriate and supports the government's program to create prosperity for the people of Papua.
 
The new autonomous region and special autonomy policies have also long been proclaimed by the central government for Papua.
 
"I invite us as God's people to surrender all the security of our activities in social life, we maintain comfort in our respective new autonomous regions so that everything runs smoothly," said Rev. MPA Mauri, in a press release received by Tribun-Papua.com, Friday (16/16). 9/2022).
 
Pastor Mauri said, the community needs to collaborate with the government in implementing development and welfare programs.

"I invite all of us to join hands and collaborate with the government so that government programs run well and are successful and we all live in peace and prosperity," he appealed.

Separately, the Coordinator of Young Papuan Intellectuals (CMP), Paulinus Ohee, hopes that the Papuan people will always be in peace.

According to him, the birth of 3 new autonomous regions for Papua is a gift from God.
 
The three new provinces are Central Papua Province, Mountains Papua Province and South Papua Province.

"We are young, independent, inspirational, independent Papuan intellectuals who invite all elements of society in Papua to participate in maintaining the peace of Papua," he said.
 
Here are three statements of the attitude of young Papuan scholars:

1. Ready to oversee and fully support the Central Government in order to immediately establish a Provisional Government in the area of 3 new provinces.
 
2. Reject all forms of activities and activities of groups that reject the new autonomous regions and disrupt the Kamtibmas situation in the Land of Papua, and we call on all Papuan youth to participate in maintaining security and public order in this land, in order to create a safe and peaceful Papua.

3. Don't be easily influenced by negative opinions on social media. Let's be wiser in social media and of course always be grateful for the formation of the New Autonomous Region for this paradise land, so that it can achieve equitable development, fulfill health facilities and of course increase the quality of education for the young generation of Papua.
