Disperindagkop Papua: Three new autonomous regions make the economy more developed
The Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, MSMEs and Manpower of the Papua Province said the formation of the three New Autonomous Regions (DOB) would make the regional economy much more developed.
Head of the Papuan Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, MSMEs and Manpower Offices, Omah Laduani, told Antara in Jayapura, Friday, saying that with the development of new autonomous regions, it will work on more new economic potential.
"First we see from the economic side there is a lot of potential that can be worked out well, then secondly there is a massive employment absorption," said Omah Laduani.
According to Omah Laduani, a minimum of 3,000 Human Resources (HR) is needed to run the government, not to mention the entry of investors who will open job vacancies.
"For the three provinces, the total will reach 9,000 employees and that's quite a lot of job opportunities," said Omah Laduani after attending the Papua Kadin FGD.
He explained that for that all possibilities must be well prepared so that the regional economy will be much more developed .
"Now, at the provincial government, we are dealing with 29 regencies and cities where it is difficult to make working visits so it is less effective, for that with the existence of new autonomous regions, we will focus more on various things going forward," said Omah Laduani.
He added that with the expansion, the reach in terms of discussing technical matters would be easier, especially now that the main provincial government is only in charge of building synergies between provinces.
