Bank Papua employee shot dead by KKB at Sinak Market!

An employee of the Sinak branch of Bank Papua in Puncak Regency, Central Papua, was shot dead. The victim was shot dead by the armed criminal group (KKB).

"It is true that there was a shooting in Sinak at 09.00 this morning. The shooting was carried out by the KKB," said Head of Public Relations of the Papuan Police Kombes Ahmad Mustofa Kamal when asked for confirmation from detikSulsel, Tuesday (13/12/2022).

"The victim was an employee of the Sinak branch of Bank Papua," he continued.
 
The shooting took place in the Pasar Sinak area, Kampung Gigobak. The victim, Darius Julius Yumame (32), was shot dead in the head.

The victim died when he was about to buy yellow rice for breakfast. The victim's body was evacuated to the Sinak Health Center.
 
"Because of the bad weather, the bodies of the victims who were planned to be evacuated to Mimika are still being delayed. Meanwhile, the police are conducting an investigation regarding the shooting," he explained.
