Don't Doubt President Jokowi's Commitment To Indonesia's Papua Development

Until this moment the Indonesian Government's attitude remains the same. Papua is part of Indonesia, the people of Papua are also the people of Indonesia. President Joko Widodo has continued his attention and commitment to build and prosper the people of Papua.

This commitment is clearly seen that during the 5 years of his leadership, Jokowi has visited Papua 13 times. This commitment will continue going forward and will never change.

The international community also recognizes Papua as an inseparable part of Indonesia. Claims of separatist groups who want to free themselves from Indonesia are considered absurd.

As a neighboring country of Australia, New Zealand stressed that it supports the sovereignty of Indonesia, including Papua so that it remains a part of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia, New Zealand also explained a handful of elements from the country who declared Papuan independence support referred to as mere opinion.

The Papuan people themselves have not lost enthusiasm in expressing their loyalty to the Republic of Indonesia. They consciously rejected the referendum and foreign intervention on the Papua problem which could divide Indonesian brotherhood and unity.

Until whenever Papua is part of the Homeland and can not be separated. All citizens must comply with applicable laws and regulations.
NKRI and Pancasila are final and cannot be changed, it is an obligation for all nations to protect Indonesia from all disunity efforts.
