Papuan youth must have the courage to compete in the economic sector |
Petrus Badokapa, supervisor of the Multipurpose Cooperative (KSU) ‘Kingmi Growing Olive Community’ City of Jayapura, said that young Papuans must compete in the economic sector to become masters over their own country.
This invitation was delivered during the celebration of the 1st anniversary of the KSU belonging to the Jayapura City Olive Community, Monday (9/3/2020).
"Church youth and all Papuan youth generally must rise and continue to compete in their respective fields, one of which is the economic sector. We must be the perpetrators, "he said.
The temporary chairman of the Deiyai district DPRD hopes that the capabilities of young people must be developed even if they need capital funds.
"Young people try to have one skill as the main capital in order to develop it to compete with others," he said.
According to Badokapa, by relying on the ability and natural potential to move in the private sector, for example the economic sector which is currently controlled by brothers and sisters from across the country, is expected to overcome the tendency as a spectator so far.
"It's time to rise, and young people must have the courage to enter the economy because the economy is one of the veins of human life," he said.
He also reminded, dare to try means ready to face many challenges and obstacles. "Do not be afraid to fail. Once or twice a failure is normal. Unusually if you rise from failure, it will get success and the results are satisfying, "said Badokapa.
