Babinsa Jayawijaya Educates Citizens About Covid-19 Prevention

Members of Babinsa Kodim 1702 / Jayawijaya were involved and began educating residents to prevent corona virus or COVID-19 within the military.

Babinsa Kodim 1702 / Jayawijaya Sertu Abbas said that socialization and education on the prevention of corona involved the COVID-19 Task Force Team.

"After being focused on villages and civilian institutions, now it starts targeting the military agencies, especially residents who live in the 1702 / Jayawijaya Kodim Housing in Sinakma District, Wamena Kota," he said.

Sertu Abbas said that the activity that was carried out on Saturday (9/5) was led by a health worker, Agustina Parangan, S.KM, M.Kes.

Abas said the team educated residents about how to use masks, wash hands properly and apply a clean lifestyle.

"The team also invited Sinakma Kodim housing residents to comply with government policies related to social restrictions," he said.

He and the team expected the entire community without exception being obliged to know and understand policies and ways to prevent corona.

"I am with Jayawijaya's COVID-19 acceleration and countermeasure task force team will aggressively socialize and educate to support government policies to break the chain of distribution of corona," he said.
