The TNI-Polri apparatus and the COVID-19 task force team synergized to unload cargo from ships carrying food and groceries as well as medical devices and household materials to prevent the Corona virus pandemic.
The activity of unloading foodstuffs was carried out by Ramil 1712-04 / Mamberamo Hilir post personnel combined with members of the Mamberamo Regional Police, BPBD who were joined by the COVID-19 team and the community carried out together with mutual cooperation to jointly fight COVID-19.
"We are members of the TNI who are in Mamberamo and members of the Mamberamo Regional Police Mutual Assistance to unload KM Lestari Permai and wooden ships and of course are assisted by the people here," said Mamberamo Raya Liaison Officer Captain Inf Ahmad.
He said, the contents of KM Lestari Permai and wooden ships in the form of food, groceries, PPE and medical devices. While wooden ships are used to load social assistance in the form of 100 tons of rice, kitchen equipment, mattresses and medical equipment to deal with the COVID-19 outbreak.
Furthermore, basic food and medical equipment were transported and placed in the Mamberamo Raya BPBD Hall as the COVID-19 countermeasure task force. While rice is placed in the Mamberamo Raya district social service, which will all be distributed to the people in the Mamberamo Raya district.
Commander of the 1712 Kodim / Sarmi Lt. Col. Inf Lamberth Jerry Mailoa who was contacted via his cellphone said the TNI-Polri soldiers as government officials would fully support and support local government policies in order to break the chain of the spread of the corona virus in the Mamberamo Raya Regency.
"We will continue to work together to support all policies and steps of the local government in order to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. "Cooperation between all elements, both the TNI-Polri and the local government and the Mamberamo Raya community, is needed to jointly face the corona pandemic," hoped Dandim.
Meanwhile, the head of the COVID-19 task force in Mamberamo Raya district Deden Sumantri added, if COVID-19 handling in Mamberamo Raya there were three programs to be carried out, namely the procurement of medical equipment, one of which was the procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE), the economic safety net and social safety networks.
"What this is doing is a program for handling COVID-19 Mamberamo Raya Regency Government, which is supported by the TNI-Polri who are here. We have coordinated directly with the Regent and we are grateful to be fully supported to work together in order to prevent the Corona virus in Mamberamo Raya as we see it today, "he said.
