Head of Regional Police Submits Assistance From Papua Regional Police Head To FKUB Jayawijaya
Jayawijaya Police Chief, AKBP Dominggus Rumaropen handed over food aid from the Papua Police Chief Inspector General of Police. Paulus Waterpauw to the local FKUB in Wamena, Friday (07/10/2020).
The assistance of 5 tons of rice and 398 carton of institutional noodles was handed over to the chairman of Ps. Esmon Walilo and Secretary Pdt. Alexander Mauri at Jayawijaya Police Headquarters. The assistance will then be distributed to religious leaders affected by Covid-19.
The Chief of Police said that Jayawijaya Regional Police distributed aid rice from the Papua Regional Police Chief to the Jayawijaya FKUB as a form of attention from the Regional Police Chief to the community amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Through this FKUB, it can later be distributed to all places of God's servants from Christians, Catholics, Muslims and Hindus will all be divided even though a little but this is a gift that can be felt by all," he said.
Head of FKUB Jayawijaya Pdt. Esmon Walilo, said that the assistance was the result of the Coffee Morning meeting in Jayapura, which he told the Regional Police Head about the difficulties caused by the Corona pandemic.
