Nduga Regent Inaugurates Koramil 1715-07 / Kenyam
"I and Nduga Regent Yairus Gwijagge symbolically jointly inaugurated the 1715-07 / Kenyam Kodim 1715 / Yahukimo Koramil in Kenyam, Nduga Regency, Papua on Friday (10/7)," he said.
To the Regent, Deputy Regent, Regional Secretary, Chairperson of the Nduga Regency DPRD and all religious leaders, community leaders, youth leaders and all those present at the event, the former Danrindam XVII / Cenderawasih expressed his gratitude for the support of the construction of the Koramil headquarters.
"I give thanks and gratitude and pride for being able to arrive in Kabuoaten Nduga. At the same time I introduce myself as the new Korem 172 / PWY Commander and my duty as Danrem to maintain and establish relationships and support what is done by the regional government for peace for the people of Nduga, "he said.
With the Koramil 1715-07 / Kenyam it can certainly help the local government in guiding and prospering the community. So that the presence of the TNI and Polri in Kenyam is solely to work to assist and sustain the local government in order to accelerate development in Nduga Regency.
Danrem also mentioned, the presence of the Koramil can help local governments in ensuring safe and peaceful areas. In the future, the Kodim will be inaugurated which is currently under construction.
"The existence of the Kodim Nduga is expected to be able to help and prioritize working in partnership with all elements of the community so as to create the Kamtibmas that are expected to be together", he said.
Nduga Regent Yairus Gwijagge said the government and the community were very hopeful of having a Kodim and Polres to help maintain security in the area of Nduga Regency.
"I, as the leader of the Nduga Regency Government and the community, always expect Kodim in this Regency and that is our great hope because this area is considered insecure and still prone to interference from groups that still disagree with us," he said.
Yairus hopes that the Kodim can embrace and make the community feel safe and is also a shared responsibility as a local government and apparatus to foster communities in Nduga Regency.
"I ask that the apparatus in charge here namely the TNI-Polri must really foster the community but not by acts of violence but instead give them good understandings so that the community can understand because it is our hope that all of us as local governments and women leaders Papua, church leaders and traditional leaders in Nduga Regency, "said Yairus.
