TNI Holds Free Medical Examination to Inland Papuans
Dansatgas Pamtas Yonif Raider 100 / PS, Major Inf M. Zia Ulhaq said, this health service provided TNI medicines in the form of vitamins and health checks to the people of Kampung Pir IV, because of limited health facilities for treatment such as Puskesmas far enough to be reached.
This health service aims to help people who suffer from illness but there is no cost for treatment, we understand the condition of the citizens, so we do this free treatment to facilitate the community.
He further said, the high enthusiasm of the people who sought treatment was due to the rarity of health care providers who came, due to the severity of the terrain to reach villages in remote areas.
Meanwhile, Thamrin (74) Head of Kampung Pir IV said to the Task Force Raider 100 personnel for health services that greatly helped treat malarial diseases.
"Thank you as much as the father of the TNI has examined our health and illness, we feel helped by this free treatment," he explained.
