Village Communities in Jayapura Regency Support the Extension of Special Autonomy

One of the village heads in Jayapura District paid attention to the polemic that occurred in the middle of the Papuan community, especially the issue of Special Autonomy.

Anton (one of the Village Heads in Jayapura Regency) said that his party currently continues to support the special Autonomy in Papua Province.

"Communities in Asey Besar and Asey Kecil villages support Otsus sustainability, but with a note of concern to our village community," he said.

In addition, his party also supports the evaluation of the special Autonomy Fund Phase I at the same time wants the optimization of empowerment of village funds, openly and transparently.

Evaluation is very important to prevent the existence of villages that are considered not to have special autonomy funds in the future in order to obtain these funds, even though during Special Autonomy there are also many villages that feel the impact of the Special Autonomy.
