Boaz Solossa Becomes Ambassador of PON Papua 2021, Raffi Ahmad & Nagita Slavina Become Icons

PON Papua is supposed to take place in 2020. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, PON Papua 2020 will be held from October 2, 2021 to October 15, 2021.

The process of handing over PON Papua jackets and hats to Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina was carried out symbolically by the Chairman of II PB PON XX 2021 Papua Province, Roy Letlora.

PON Papua is rumored to be competing 37 sports. There are 6,484 athletes who will participate in the four-year event.

The details are a total of 37 sports, 56 sports disciplines, and 679 number of matches / competitions. Participants who took part came from 34 provinces.

Meanwhile, the venues for the sports that will be contested will be divided into four clusters, namely the city of Jayapura, Jayapura Regency, Mimika and Merauke.

The Jayapura City Cluster is the location for 15 sports with 21 disciplinary numbers. Furthermore, the Jayapura Regency cluster hosts 14 sports and 22 disciplinary numbers. The Mimika cluster will compete in 9 sports and 12 discipline numbers.

Finally, the Merauke cluster will compete in 6 sports with 6 sports disciplines.
