Therefore, the Regent of Puncak Willem Wandik asked the OPM not only to kill blindly and violate Papuan customs.

"We are here to discuss the events that occurred several days in Puncak Regency, starting from the murder of the Teacher in Beoga District, the burning of the school building as well as in Beoga, the shooting of a motorcycle taxi driver in Eromaga Village, and the murder of a school child on behalf of Ali Mom. All over the world and the whole of Indonesia already knows that the Puncak area, or the mountainous area, is not safe, a place where murders often occur, "said Wiliam Wandik.

According to him, what often happens besides the incidents carried out by the KKB, there are also political problems or political parties that create or cause chaos and chaos in the Regency, as well as customary problems, namely the first wife who cheated on or was jealous between the first wife and the second, and also quarrels between The organization between the Churches is misunderstood.

"The problem that is happening now is I do not understand, because when tribal wars occur we know what they want and what to do, but if what happens now I do not understand what they want or mean," he said.

Because the events that are usually carried out by KKB, what often occur are usually only the confiscation of weapons and shooting of members, or attacks on TNI / Polri posts. "But now I see the shooting of teachers, motorcycle taxi drivers and burning schools and even the murder of indigenous people, I am very confused about the current activities carried out by these groups," he said.

At present, he said, many generals have entered and arrived in Puncak Regency, in Beoga there are still generals who directly lead operations in Beoga.

"So now don't tell the Regent who invited it but because of the situation and conditions that made them go directly from the center to Puncak Regency. If now many members of the TNI / Polri have entered Puncak Regency, that's because what the government is currently facing is the KKB group which is facilitated with firearms. , that's why to face them the TNI / Polri will immediately step into the field, because it is the duty and responsibility of the TNI / Polri to maintain security if any turmoil occurs, "he said.

The Regent emphasized that if the KKB group said that their goal was to fight for independence, but the people themselves or their families were killed.

"This is fighting for what is like this, what are you fighting for, this makes us who are in Papua and even the world also confused about the struggle that is currently being carried out. If you want war, we will prepare a battlefield, so that we people will withdraw and you fight against the TNI. / Polri, that's just men, don't make people afraid or become victims, "he concluded.
