KKB Returns to Terror in Ilaga Papua, Residents' Houses Burned
The armed criminal group (KKB) again carried out acts of terror in Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, Papua. The KKB burned down the houses of residents in Kimak Village.
The burning incident of residents' houses took place last night, Friday (7/5/2021), at 19.01 WIT. Two gunshots were heard.
The KKB acting up was thought to be the group led by Parengen, Lerri Mayu's subordinates. Public Relations of the Nemangkawi Task Force, Kombes Iqbal Al Qudussy, confirmed the burning incident of the residents' houses in Kimak village.
"It is true that there were two shots of gunfire, after the sound of gunfire there were burning of houses," said Iqbal in a written statement.
The action of burning houses was recorded by drones. The results of the police check, the KKB burned down the house belonging to Yorin Tabuni (OAP), who is an employee of the Puncak Regency Social Service.
It said there were no victims in the incident. The house was empty when the KKB burned it.
