Puslatprov Papua Supports Soccer Achievements of PON XX

The Papua Provincial Training Center (Puslatprov) continues to support and serve all needs during the preparation of 37 sports athletes ahead of the XX Papua National Sports Week (PON), including football to win a gold medal for the Papuan contingent.

Deputy Chairperson II of Papua Prov and Training Center Lt. Col. Inf. Asep Supriyanto said that the bus change for football was considered appropriate, even the buses provided were of the best quality for athlete standards.

As he gave an example, the buses currently used by the women's football team (galanita) have adequate and comfortable standard facilities.

"When you want to replace, there is an automatic exchange of old and new buses, coordinated with football, but you want to use the old one. But from Puslatprov for rental efficiency, you have to re-contract and need a time lag, ”said Lt. Col. Inf Asep Supriyanto on the sidelines of a meeting with PON XX Papua athletes at Makodam XVII / Cenderawasih, Friday (28/5/2021).

"So because vehicles from Puslatprov have not been received, they have not been used. Maybe they took the initiative to use a blakos car, but after coordination with the old vehicle and according to the agreed price. Now it is supported, normal football activities for TC in the regions and outside Papua, "he continued.

Asep said, Puslatprov is like a servant who will serve all the needs of athletes in preparation for the successful achievement of PON XX Papua.

“I'm actually a servant and supporter, I really want the best, so that when people see the football team using a good vehicle, we are proud. But we also adjust what the athletes and coaches want, we will follow, "he said.

"The athlete's job is only to train to achieve what is targeted. So Puslatprov continues to support all sports to ensure all athletes can excel for the land of Papua in XX PON," he concluded.
