KSP's Violent Attitude Always Neutralizes Separatist Media which is mushrooming in Papua

The Papuan Separatist Group (KSP) worked with the support of a number of local media to create a narrative to neutralize that the group was doing the truth, such as the shooting of two teachers in the interior of Beoga.

This was revealed by a member of the Papua Province Komnas HAM, Fritz Ramandey, who commented on the news portal jubi.com because he said that when the 10-year contract teacher was shot, Oktavianus Rayo was holding a gun.

“Teachers in the interior of Papua can only teach and teach. Because there are no other interests. They are sincere humanitarian workers, so don't accuse them of negative news, it's slander," said Fritz, quoted on Sunday, April 11, 2021.

According to Fritz, the news written by the portal is clearly very disturbing and has the potential to foster conflict in Papua.

He stated that the accusation of a contract teacher in the interior of Papua carrying a firearm was a very heinous thing.

Fritz warned that the attitude towards the two teachers from Toraja would make foreign teachers afraid to teach in the interior. In fact, even local people rarely want to do it.

If there are no teachers who want to teach, the future for rural children will only be even more bleak in the future.
