PB PON invites entrepreneurs to sponsor PON XX Papua

The Grand Committee of the XX Papua National Sports Week invites all companies, both BUMN/BUMD and business associations in Papua Province to be involved as sponsors to make the Papua PON which will take place on 2-15 October 2021.

PB PON Papua Sponsorship Coordinator Vera Parinusa in Jayapura, Tuesday, said her party was optimistic that Papuan companies would be involved in accordance with their respective capabilities to become sponsors so that the implementation of PON XX could run well.

PB PON Papua, according to Vera Parinusa, has also made special offers for companies outside Papua and company associations to be involved in the implementation of PON XX.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Indonesian Distributor Association of Papua Province, Jeky Kajagi, said that the Papua PON must be implemented and the association's contribution will decorate the PON with the colors of each organization.

"I invite all companies to be involved in the success of the four-year sports festival in Indonesia," he said.

PON XX Papua, according to Jeky, is an honor and pride for the community and the region so that it needs to be jointly succeeded by all business associations in Papua.

"Ardin Papua's board of directors are ready to support and succeed PON XX Papua," he said.

The XX Papua PON is scheduled to take place from 2-15 October 2021 in four clusters, including Jayapura City, Jayapura Regency, Mimika Regency and Merauke Regency, competing in 37 sports, 56 disciplines, 679 matches and involving 6,442 athletes.
