MAYBRAT'S SITUATION IS SAFE FROM KKB Papua, Hundreds of Refugees Return Home and are Strictly Guarded by TNI-Polri



The current situation in Maybrat Regency, Papua, is now safe from the KKB Papua terror acts.

Hundreds of refugees who were victims of the brutality of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) were finally able to return to their homes.
 
The return of the refugees is closely guarded by the TNI-Polri to provide a sense of security and comfort.

Launching from the kasuari18-tniad.mil.id page, Members of Kodim 1809/Maybrat Led by Pasi Ter Kodim 1809/Maybrat Captain Arh Untung Wiyono carried out the pick-up of 100 refugees from Kisor Village who fled to several villages, Friday (12/24). /2021).

The 100 refugees were spread over 85 people in Kroom Village, 9 people in Kumurkek Village and 6 people in Fategomi Village.
 
The refugees are people who moved after the attack and massacre of the Kisor Posramil, Kisor Village, South Aifat District, Maybrat Regency, West Papua which was carried out by the Papuan KKB on September 2, 2021 ago.

Previously, the Kodim had coordinated and collected data on refugees, prepared means of transportation and escort personnel to pick-up and delivery, as well as provided manpower assistance for housing renovations.

The priest on that occasion told the refugees that the area is currently safe so there is no need to worry about returning to their respective homes because they are guarded by TNI and Polri officers.
 
"We, the TNI and Polri, provide a sense of security to the entire community and urge them to return to their normal activities, we facilitate the process of returning to their respective homes."

"This is an order from Dandim Maybrat to make a breakthrough in returning refugees, and following up on the direction and statement of the XVIII/Kasuari Military Commander some time ago that the Kisor area is safe," he stressed.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Maybrat Land Office, Yustus Waiber, gave directions to the refugees and said that Christmas would soon be here and it would be celebrated so that refugees should go home and celebrate Christmas in their respective homes.

"That the local government of the Maybrat Regency urges the refugees to return to their respective homes to welcome Christmas and the new year," he said.
 
After arriving at Kisor Village, South Aifat District, the community members prayed at the Fito Church in Kisor Village, Aifat District, led by Pastor Assem.

Also present at the pick-up of the Head of the Office of Revenue, Mr. Melianus, Head of Land Affairs Office, Mr. Yustus Waiber, Dp3A child protection Yuliana Isir, Member of Kodim 1809/Maybrat Babinsa, Member of the South Sorsel Police, BKO Kodim personnel and member of Infantry Battalion 762.

Hundreds of Maybrat Residents Refuge Due to the Brutality of the Papuan KKB

Previously, the TNI-Polri guaranteed the safety of hundreds of residents of Maybrat Regency who were currently fleeing due to the brutality of the Papuan KKB.

Launching from kasuari18-tniad.mil.id, Dandim 1809/Maybrat Lieutenant Colonel Harry Ismail with the Regent of Maybrat Bernard Sagrim met directly with the refugees at the office of the Regent of Maybrat, West Papua, Monday (13/09/2021).

The refugees, totaling approximately one hundred people, including children and the elderly, are residents of the Middle East Aifat District, Maybrat Regency, West Papua, who have been securing themselves since the attack on the Kisor Preparatory Koramil Post by KKB Papua.
 
The Regent said not to be afraid because their area is currently guaranteed security by the TNI and Polri.
