BENNY WENDA SUSTAINED TO OPEN A BRANCH 'ULMWP KIO'

The announcement of the planned opening of branch offices of the ULMWP interim government was criticized by a Papuan liberation figure. Jeffrey Bomanak as Chairman of the Free Papua Organization said that these efforts must be immediately canceled for the sake of the future of the Papuan nation itself.
"The irrational actions taken by Benny Wenda without coordination with other organizations. ULMWP is an organization that was just formed yesterday afternoon, they know nothing about the struggle,"

Jeffrey emphasized that the opening of government offices by the ULMWP in the Pacific region and several countries in Europe is very vulnerable to being used by foreign parties to bind Papua. He was worried that his homeland would not get absolute independence.

"The undeniable principle is that there must be reciprocity. If Papua will eventually become independent, I'm afraid that the rights of freedom for its people will not be fully achieved. Benny Wenda and ULMWP's efforts will only attract foreign attention and make the struggle difficult,"

Jeffrey Bomanak actually questioned the intentions and objectives of Benny Wenda, who was keen to cooperate with Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Britain and a number of European countries. Jeffrey suspected that Benny Wenda was trying to enrich himself more.

"ULMWP is opening a branch, it sounds a bit interesting. They think the struggle organization is like a kiosk maybe. What is happening now is that Benny Wenda is busy enriching himself,"
