Battalion RK 751 Task Force serves health checks for residents of Mamberamo Raya

Soldiers of the Indonesian Military (TNI) Task Force Battalion RK 751/VJS serve free health checks to residents in the Dabra district, Memberamo Raya Regency, Sunday.

The Satgas Battalion RK 751/VJS personnel, Serka Diaz, who led this activity, said that apart from carrying out the task of securing vulnerable areas, the Yalimo Kodim Task Force Battalion RK 751/VJS not only guarded and patrolled, but also served the people.

Admittedly, the task force personnel have the task of securing by approaching and serving the community in the assigned area, both in the fields of education, development, material assistance and also health services.

"All of this we do with the hope that it can be more useful in the community so that a safe situation can be created," said Serka Diaz.

One of the residents of Saud Mebri who received treatment felt grateful for the presence of task force personnel in his area because they always helped residents who were in trouble.

"My family and I are very happy with the presence of the army brothers in our area. Apart from helping me with treatment, they also provide basic necessities and ready-to-eat food to us," said Saud.

Meanwhile, Dansatgas Kodim Yalimo Yonif RK 751/VJS Lt. Col. Inf. Dedy Dwi Cahyadi expressed his appreciation to the task force personnel who have helped residents by visiting and conducting examinations and treatment of several residents who need health care.

Dansatgas admits that they are very proud of what the task force personnel have done to residents in the assigned area.

"Hopefully, what is being done can have an impact on the creation of a situation that is always safe and under control so that no area, especially Papua, is considered a vulnerable area because security personnel and residents have established a harmonious relationship with mutual love," he said.
