10 Civilians Suspected Killed by KKB, Papuan Youth Leaders: Papuan Ancestors Cry Seeing This Heinous Action
The heinous and brutal action of the KKB which killed 10 civilians, including a priest in Papua, and injured two others, in Noglait Village, Nduga Regency, has been criticized by Papuan youth leaders. Steve Mara, a visionary Papuan youth leader said that KKB had failed in its struggle to bring the issue of Papuan independence.
"I condemn the killings carried out by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Nduga. This group calls themselves liberation soldiers who want independence, I emphasize here, "There is no independence with bloodshed, especially since the victims are innocent civilians," he stressed, Saturday (16/7/2022).
According to him, this group can no longer be tolerated. The Pangdam XVII/Cendrawasih and the Papuan Police Chief must immediately pursue them and take firm action.
“Don't use a territorial approach for this group anymore. We Papuans are known to be full of love and do not have a culture of killing people like this. This group stopped using Papuan names to kill civilians in Papua. Nature and the ancestors of the Papuan nation wept to see this heinous act," he said.
He also expressed his condolences and deep condolences for the deaths of the victims, including prayers for healing for the injured victims.
"I also express my condolences and condolences for the incident that killed these victims, I hope all the victims get the best place by God's side, and the bereaved families are given patience," he concluded.
