Another Body of the Victim of the KKB Shooting in Nduga Evacuated by the TNI-Polri Joint Team

Kamal said the evacuation of the victims was an. Roy Manampiring (42) is one of the victims of the massacre carried out by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Nduga Regency on Saturday (16/07).
 
"The body of (Roy Manampiring) was one of the victims of the murder on Saturday, July 16, 2022 by KKB Leader Egianus Kogoya, to be exact, on the Adu Mama 2 (two) Kenyam District, Nduga Regency," said Kamal.

The Head of Public Relations explained that at first the victim did not know that there was a murder of 10 civilians that took place in Kenyam Village, Nogolait Complex and Yosoma Complex 1 (one) on Saturday 16 July 2022 so the victim walked away from his camp which is in the area of the new airport construction. to Kenyam District, Nduga Regency.

"According to information from the community, the victim at that time walked from Batas Batu to Kenyam with several OAP people, but on the way the victim and the OAP community met with KKB so that some of the OAP people immediately fled to the forest and separated from the victim," explained Kombes Pol. Kamal.

According to information from a colleague of the victim, he often walked from Batas Batu to Kenyam every Saturday. The victim is known to work as a sensor operator.

"Until now the body of the late Roy Manampiring is still buried at the Kenyam Nduga Health Center and the plan this afternoon will be flown to Mimika," said Kombes Pol Kamal.

The Head of Public Relations added that prior to Monday, July 18, 2022, information about the discovery of bodies in the field was still confusing, then on Tuesday, personnel called the public who knew the whereabouts of the bodies to be confirmed.

"After knowing the position of the bodies of the joint personnel, they went to the location to check the information, but before arriving at the scene the joint personnel were attacked with gunfire from two sides," concluded the Head of Public Relations.

Furthermore, Kamal said that because of the situation and conditions, the personnel returned to the Post.

"At 02.00 Wit in the morning, the joint personnel returned to the TKP to evacuate the victim's body, then the victim's body was taken to the Kenyam Health Center for further examination," concluded the Head of Public Relations.
