Pursuing Fugitive Ricky Ham Pagawak, KPK Continues to Coordinate with NCB Interpol Indonesia

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has ensured that it will not calm the Regent of Central Mamberamo Ricky Ham Pagawak, a suspect in a bribery case, during his flight as a fugitive from the anti-corruption agency.

Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri said his party was continuing to coordinate with NCB Interpol Indonesia in the pursuit of Ricky Ham Pagawak.

"We are still coordinating with NCB Interpol Indonesia regarding assistance in finding DPO on behalf of Ricky Ham Pagawak," said Ali when confirmed, Tuesday (9/8/2022).

Ali said that the KPK hopes that there will be a synergy with law enforcement officials to immediately complete the pursuit of fugitive Ricky Ham. Also, the role of the community can help the KPK if it provides information on the whereabouts of the fugitive.
 
"We also really need community support in this search effort. Ricky Ham Pagawak can be found immediately," he added

Now, Ricky Ham is on the People's Wanted List (DPO). It is suspected that he fled to Papua New Guinea when he was about to be picked up by the KPK team. Attempts to pick him up were carried out, because he was absent from the second summons by the KPK investigators.

Even so, the KPK has not officially announced the parties named as suspects in this case. However, the current status of Ricky Ham has become a suspect by the KPK.


In addition, the KPK has confiscated a number of evidence, a number of documents as well as records of money transactions and electronic devices. Including, a private house and a car allegedly belonging to Ricky Ham have been confiscated.

The locations targeted for the search include one of the houses in the Skyline Residence Housing Complex, Jayapura; Permata Indah Housing, Abepura, Jayapura City; residence on Jalan Regency II, Bhayangkara, Jayapura; and a house in the South Tangerang area.'
