KKB PAPUA Undius Kogoya Lost 2 Members and Hundreds of Ammunition, This is His Action

The Papuan KKB led by Undius Kogoya has just lost its members and hundreds of ammunition.

Launching from ANTARA, the Law Enforcement Team of the Cartenz Peace Task Force arrested two members of the Papuan KKB Undius Kogoya in two different locations in Mimika Regency, Papua Province.

Papua Police Director General Kombes Faizal Rahmadani told ANTARA on Friday that the two Papuan KKB members suspected of being tasked with finding logistics were arrested while looking for logistics in the form of ammunition and firearms.

He said that initially the team arrested MK in the Djayanti area on Thursday (22/9) along with 113 rounds of ammunition of various calibers and one revolver type airsoft gun.

The ammunition seized consisted of 95 rounds of 5.56 mm caliber ammunition and 18 rounds of V2 sabhara rubber ammunition, he explained.

Meanwhile, on Friday morning, at around 11.20 WIT, the team arrested BK in the SP 5 area, he said.

He said from the results of the examination, both of them were members of the Intan Jaya Group KKB led by Undius Kogoya.

"Currently, both of them are still under investigation by investigators," he said.

Previously, a worker named Manoach Rumansara was shot by the Papuan KKB in Intan Jaya.

Although he had received medical help, Manoach could not be helped.

Regarding the shooting, the spokesman for the Free Papua Movement National Liberation Army (TPN-OPM), Sebby Sambom, said the perpetrator was the Papuan KKB led by Undius Kogoya.

Undius Kogoya, said Sebby, accused Manoach Rumansara of being a spy for the Indonesian military in charge of carrying out the Trans Papua Road construction project in Mamba, Intn Jaya Regency.

Security disturbances carried out by the Papuan KKB led by Undinus Kogoya have caused unrest for a number of people in Intan Jaya.

Around 500 people were forced to leave their villages and take refuge in churches or security posts.

According to a source who did not want to be identified, said KKB often threatens and extorts property from the people in the village.

"Several times the OPM came to residents' homes to get some food by threatening to use weapons," he explained.

These actions, he said, ultimately made residents feel afraid and chose to find a place that felt safer.

"They all felt very scared and left their homes," he explained.

He also revealed that Agustina Ondou (21) who was shot in Mamba Village was the work of the KKB.

The incident began when a separatist group, thought to have numbered a dozen people, first attacked the TNI post.
