Received Special Autonomy Fund of Rp. 4.8 Billion, DP2KP Kab. Jayapura to finance the construction of a healthy house

The Office of Land, Housing and Settlement Areas (DP2KP) of Jayapura Regency received an allocation of Special Autonomy (Otsus) funds from the Papua Provincial Government of Rp. 4,800,000,000 in the 2022 fiscal year.
 
Head of the Jayapura Regency Land, Housing and Settlement Area (DP2KP), Terry F. Ayomi, stated that the Special Autonomy funds were used to finance two activities or programs.
 
The target of the Special Autonomy funds was used to touch indigenous Papuans in Jayapura Regency.
 
"In 2022, more or less we from DP2KP received the Special Autonomy funds of around 4 billion 800 million rupiah," Terry Ayomi said when answering this online media reporter's question, at the Jayapura Regent's Office, Gunung Merah, Sentani, Jayapura Regency, yesterday.

Terry detailed that the Special Autonomy funds were first allocated for the construction of healthy houses for indigenous Papuans in several districts in Jayapura Regency as many as eight (8) units.
Second, assistance to finance the activities of the Indigenous Peoples Task Force (GTMA) of Jayapura Regency.

"So, we build eight (4) billion housing units. Namely, four houses in Sentani City and one unit in Yoboi (Sentani District), then two units in Demta and one unit in Raveni Rara District. We build it is a healthy house, which we hand over to the community, yes, after the construction is complete, we immediately hand it over to the community and it immediately becomes the property of the community," Terry said.
 
"We use approximately 800 million to support or finance the activities of the Indigenous Peoples Task Force or GTMA," he added.
 
Terry continued that the Special Autonomy funds received by DP2KP in 2022 had decreased.
 
"When it comes to increasing the allocation of Otsus funds, there is no such thing, instead the amount given to us has decreased. These Special Autonomy funds usually range from 4 billion to 6 billion. However, before the Covid-19 pandemic and also the implementation of PON XX, we usually get Special Autonomy funds amounting to 11 billion rupiah. So, the allocation of Special Autonomy funds that we receive every year continues to decline, from 11 billion it fell to 6 billion until in 2022 we received only 4 billion 800 million rupiah, "said the former Head of the Public Works Agency.
