The Acting Regent of Mappi Invites People in the Village to Value Pancasila Values

The Acting Regent of Mappi, Michael R Gomar visited Paghai Village, Haju District, Mappi Regency on the Pancasila Sanctity Day, October 1, 2022.

The visit was carried out by the youngest Acting Regent in Papua riding a motorbike with members of the Mappi DPRD, as well as the Indonesian Motorcycle Association (IMI) Management by traveling a distance of 50 Kilometers from Kepi City.

During his visit, Michael R. Gomar invited the people in the village to interpret the values of Pancasila within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).

"We came with a group to commemorate the Pancasila Sanctity Day which falls on October 1, which coincides with today. As good citizens, it is appropriate for the community and the younger generation to maintain the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia properly and be guided by Pancasila," he said.

In addition to checking developments in the district, Michael Gomar also wants to hear directly from the community's complaints. He also expressed his gratitude to the district head and the people who had accepted the group.

“The condition of the road to the district is indeed quite difficult to reach with such a tough terrain. However, it is a challenge for the road construction program to be given more attention. Because if road access is good, the economy will also improve,” said Michael Gomar.
